Christmas

The year is coming to an end. It has been one long year. Just as long as the other’s but now filled with many blessings. It has felt like a full-stock cupboard for me. It started slow but gained momentum as fast with many good surprises. Finally a year free from covid.

I’ve run the most this year. Doing between 30-35 km for more than 7 months. With other indoor workouts. Completed several projects successfully from the Miti Mingi dip to the Jualako hotel, carwash, and butchery, and now currently doing one at Emali. I’ve also written a few blog posts every month, which is a good effort from the side. Although I noticed many of my stories have changed, many are personal. But I hope they all feel right to you.

I did most of my thesis this year. It was challenging, especially in data collection and analysis of that data. I did my defense and graduated this past October. It felt good. I also became a dad this year. This was a huge blessing too. Now working a new job with a very nice title. I am so grateful for it and plan to give it my best.

I’ve also had my disappointments this year despite the blessings. I’ve attended several burials of close relatives and friends; from my grandpa’s passing to Njore’s father and Ngare’s dad. Now my grandma has passed on, this December 21st. I’ve had several days where I struggled with a lack of finances and broken dreams, but I’m still here.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus. I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Filled with blessings, peace, and joy. May the day be cheerful. Filled with gratitude and plenty for all. It’s a season when most people travel, wishing everyone safe travels and a blessed boxing day to follow. Happy holiday to everyone, and thank you for reading my posts throughout the year. Blessings
