These days

I’ve seen fire, and I’ve seen rain
I’ve seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I’ve experienced heavy rainfall that felt like storms
They’ve been windy days that filled the air with dust
I’ve seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I’d be grateful again
There were days filled with joy and gratitude
Others were overwhelmed with goodness and kind
In all these moments, I’ve been present

  1. Beautiful poetry, mentally rearranged by meteorological phenomena, the elements of weather patterns, enduring and critical to the poetic verse –
Before the heart begins to pour and naming all its essential oils – goodness, joy and gratitude.

Thank you for sharing such essential

  3. This poem reflects this message hope am allowed to share its views. Every moment, a moment is born, a moment is gone, a moment is to be born. That said consciousness alone is the present. The non-eternal time is sustained by the eternal timeless consciousness. πŸ™

    1. Yes, yes. Your views are much appreciated and they explain the poem very beautifully. I like how you’ve fit consciousness in your comment. πŸ™

    2. Wonderful! I appreciate your views. Unchanging consciousness[ Pure or absolute Consciousness], where the experiences are born and die as reflected consciousness. That is mind like a moon. Moon reflects light of Sun. Mood changes same as moon’s phases change. But Sun’s light is present every time.
      You have explained very nicely.
      Thank you so much
      Best wishes! Take care.πŸ˜ŠπŸ™
