Doubt

Doubt is the absence of faith
Signifying a lack of trust,
a welcome sign to fear.

Self-doubt is the worst of it
As we become our block,
To growth and peace

We stop believing in the unseen
Forgetting Faith is the building block of life
Becoming doubting Thomas’s we stand in our way

Doubt comes as a whisper
Then manifests itself as chaos,
Bad decisions follow, retribution is regret.

We all know of doubt but barely understand the weight it carries until we live it. Its true meaning unfolds to us ever so slowly the older we get, and as our experience piles. It is good to overcome it before it manifests. Through the strengthening of our faith, practicing kindness and love to self and others.

      1. You’re so welcome! I have, always growing and going with the flow of the Universe 🤪. Thank you for asking…it’s great to see you back!!!! Hope you’ve been well too!! 🖤🤗

  2. Thank you for this excellent thought-provoking poem that carried me into some added depths of understanding. These are some of my thoughts that I hope will stimulate you as well: Doubt is needed when error presents itself but doubting the truth is costly. We have only to look at the consequences to Adam and Eve when they doubted what God said. As I see it, doubting the truth is not wrong, but if we side with that doubt, we lose what is most valuable to us because only through the knowledge of the truth can we be set free.

I believe that this highest knowledge of all has to be kept in our hearts for it to be life impacting and secure, as if it’s just in our minds, it will only be momentarily profitable and eventually can be stolen. Verily, the love for the truth must be greater than any other love, for without it, we cannot be true to God, self, and others.
May many kisses of truth, love, wisdom, understanding, and grace be yours today, dear Kinge. I appreciate you so much.
    ❤️Michele

    1. Thank you Michele for your kind words and valuable feedback. I have been moved by these lines; “Doubt is needed when error presents itself but doubting the truth is costly” and “Verily, the love for the truth must be greater than any other love, for without it, we cannot be true to God, self, and others.” You’ve helped broaden my understanding on the topic. May your wisdom continue to grow and may you keep sharing. Be Blessed 🌻
